Gale Sayers the legend of NFL and star of Chicago Bears has died at the age of 77. He was one of the greatest running back of the history of the NFL. During the time of his playing days he was known as Kansas Comet. In 1965, Gale Sayers won NFL Rookie of the Year Honors.

Sayers scored an awesome six touch down against 49ers. It was on 12th December 1965. The field was mud-soaked. On that match Chicago won by 61-20.

Gayle sayers made the performance in 1965 as a rookie for touchdown. Still now his 22 touchdown is the most number of touchdown by a rookie.
3. Sayers played only 68 matches.
Gale sayers was suffered from serious knee injury after 1968. After that he returned to the field in 1969. But due to that injury his career was not so long.
4. Sayers received youngest hall of fame induction
Galy sayers received hall of fame induction on 30th July 1977 at the age of 34. Some others stars also received hall of fame induction with him.
5. Gale Sayers' career after NFL
Sayers was college athletic director. After that he founded computer supply company. The company name was Sayers 40 Inc. It was founded in 1984.
